On Friday, Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced that Racquel Britt Davis, 51, was sentenced by Judge Robert E. Cahill, Jr. for felony theft after submitting 18 fraudulent claims for short-term disability and accident supplemental insurance while employed as a correctional officer, and she has been ordered to pay $50,251.66 in restitution.

Tramell Tillman, a native of Maryland, has emerged as one of the stars of Severance, an acclaimed Apple TV series directed by Ben Stiller. The show revolves around a team of office workers who have undergone a surgical procedure to separate their memories of work and personal lives. When a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, the characters embark on a quest to uncover the truth about their jobs. Tillman, who plays the role of Seth Milchick on the series, grew up in nearby Prince George’s County, specifically in Largo, where he developed his early passions.

Christopher Stuart Crittenden, 54, of Frederick, was arrested on Thursday, March 13, and charged with assault and disorderly conduct after allegedly punching a United Airlines gate agent at Gate D12 at Dulles International Airport. On Thursday, U.S. District Judge James K. Bredar sentenced Daniel Valentin-Morales, 35, of Frederick, Maryland, to 13 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release for one count of coercion and enticement. Judge Bredar also ordered that Valentin-Morales, who was a substitute teacher in Frederick County, must register as a sex offender in places where he resides and is employed, upon his release from prison, pursuant to the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

Last week we let you know that Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was making waves in Maryland as he filmed television series, “Kitchen Nightmares” (or a show with a similar premise) in Frederick, MD. The restaurant he was filming at, Callahan’s Seafood Bar & Grill (1808 Rosemont Ave. in Frederick, MD) has announced that it will be reopening on Tuesday, March 11th.
