Montgomery County Police has announced that the driver wanted in connection with a fatal hit and run collision that occurred on Veirs Mill Rd on April 8 has been arrested.
According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, “in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, before the Honorable Margaret Schweitzer, a jury found defendant, Geofrey Gaitan, 31, of Silver Spring guilty of attempted murder in the second degree for a near-fatal attack on his landlord in a dispute over rent.” (more…)

At approximately 7:58 pm on Sunday night, Takoma Park Police responded to the area of Maple Avenue and Sligo Creek Parkway for a report of a “personal injury collision.”
Two Montgomery County, MD men, Azarro Ravery, 19 and Rami Massoud, 20, were each charged with Assault Second Degree and Conspiracy Second Degree following an arrest for an incident that occurred on April 7th in Newark, Delaware. Both men are students at the University of Delaware, according to the Newark Post, and are from Bethesda, MD.
