Per MCPD: “Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Shalla Ethiopian Restaurant in the 8000 block of Sligo Avenue. Detectives have released video of the suspects and their vehicle and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.

Per the Prince George’s County Police Department: “A Gang Unit investigation led to the arrest of three suspects and the recovery of multiple weapons and thousands of fentanyl pills. The suspects are 26-year-old Dream Edwards of Columbia, Maryland, 22-year-old Romel Johnson of Laurel and 34-year-old Michael Jordan Thompson of Washington, DC.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to the 18100 block of Town Center Drive at approximately 12:30 a.m., for the report of a stabbing early Monday morning.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a shooting that killed a man in Northeast DC. The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Ryan Realbuto, of Pittsford, NY, who was volunteering at Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School in Takoma Park.
