A federal grand jury indicted Erik Lee Madison of Halethorpe, MD on charges including sexual exploitation of a child, coercion and enticement of a child, and cyberstalking, following his arrest earlier this month.
According to court documents, Madison is accused of targeting minors while associated with an online extremist group, with potential federal prison sentences ranging from 10 years to life if convicted.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating two separate incidents that occurred in Fairland on Wednesday, November 19: a non-life-threatening shooting of an adult male who reported being shot near Aston Manor Drive, and a homicide in which 20-year-old Jadyn Mekhi Brown was found dead with gunshot wounds nearby. The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects connected to a reported theft at an Ulta Beauty store on Columbia Pike in Burtonsville. Clift Seferlis of Garrett Park, Maryland, pleaded guilty to 17 counts of mailing threatening communications and eight counts of obstructing the free exercise of religious beliefs after sending dozens of threatening letters to Jewish institutions across multiple states.
In the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland, Judge Theresa Chernosky found Iris Alonzo-Salgado, 24, of Frederick, guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and participating in a criminal organization resulting in death.
