Nearly a year ago we let you know that TJ Maxx, the discount department store that sells clothing, shoes, jewelry, and home décor would be one of Burtonsville Crossing’s new tenants in the revamped shopping center. The store has announced that it will officially open on Thursday, March 7th at 8am.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the report of a fire in the 700blk of Amsterdam Terrace in Burtonsville on Thursday, February 15, after a 9-1-1 caller from a nearby building saw smoke.
Construction on the new Burtonsville Elementary School is scheduled to begin later this year. The project has been awarded to Consigli Construction Co., Inc., who will work alongside MTFA Architecture.
