The Montgomery County Education Association’s (MCEA) Representative Assembly voted last night to oppose MCPS’s proposed regional program model for secondary schools. In a press release, MCEA shares that it supports the goal of the proposed model, to increase access and equity to enriched instruction, the Association does not have confidence that the plan, as currently proposed, will meet that goal in any meaningful sense.

Squads were evaluated on the level of difficulty, technique, and execution of their routines, performances that featured everything from synchronized choreography to high-flying stunts and crowd-pumping spirit.
