MCPS Chief Operating Officer Brian Hull has sent a an e-mail to MCPS staff members this past week regarding increased scrutiny/attention on social media activity by MCPS staff. The e-mail states that there has been in increase of staff accounts being reported that the district has “an obligation to follow up on.” This comes a few weeks after a was sent a few weeks back regarding social media engagement by staff. Clarksburg High School has sent out a press release announcing the hiring of a new Varsity football head coach:
Brandon Martin comes to Clarksburg after serving as the Varsity passing game coordinator and special teams coach at Rockville High School this past season. Prior to this season, Coach Martin was the JV Coach at Rockville where he guided the team from a previous 1-7 record to a 5-3 finish. Coach Martin got his start in coaching at Clarksburg HS where he was an assistant coach for three seasons.
