Pine Crest Elementary School (Silver Spring, Maryland) and the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) recently collaborated on an inspiring six-week Leadership Academy for students. Led by Officer Amaya and several dedicated MCPD Officers, the program aimed to instill leadership skills and values in students, fostering personal growth and success not only in the classroom but also in everyday life. Richard Montgomery High School Girls Volleyball has won the Maryland State Championship, defeating Leonardtown 4-1. The team finished the season with a 22-3 overall record.
