Back in June we let you know that MCPS planned to make the move away from requiring employees to fill out physical timesheets and leave request forms during thie 2024/2024school year, and the school system confirmed in its Staff Bulletin that it will be launching Hub+ this December to make that happen.

Earlier this week, Montgomery Public Schools submitted the Superintendent’s Recommended FY 2026 Capital Budget and Amendments to the FY 2025–2030 Capital Improvements Program to the Montgomery County Board of Education.

As we head into the final stretch of the regular season, playoff seeding is on everyone’s mind. Teams are jostling for position, while some are fighting just to keep their postseason hopes alive. This week’s slate features critical matchups, high stakes, and a few potential blowouts. Let’s dive into the games.

Blair’s defense has been solid, but no team has found a way to slow down Bah and the Panthers’ rushing attack all season. Blair needs to not only play flawless defense but also find ways to move the ball against a tough Paint Branch defense. It’s a tall task, and while Blair has heart, the Panthers’ physicality and experience in big games should be too much.


Montgomery College received a $100,000 grant for the fourth year as part of the Johnson Controls Community College Partnership Program new window. This year’s award will support HVAC scholarships, updated equipment for College HVAC labs, recruitment of new, diverse students, and support from academic coaches within MC’s Achieving the Promise Academy.
