Throughout May, Montgomery County businesses will be providing exclusive deals and experiences as part of Visit Montgomery’s “Go MoCo Month.”
Henry Winkler, popular for his break out role as Arthur “Fonzie/The Fonz” Fonzarelli” in the popular 70s/80s series Happy Days, will be sharing some of his personal experiences as Montgomery College’s Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center (51 Mannakee St. in Rockville) on Tuesday, October 29th.
The Greek Orthodox Church of St. George in Bethesda, MD, will hold its annual Greek Festival on Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, 2024, starting at 12 pm. The festival will be held on the church grounds at 7701 Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda, and is free and open to the public.
The 2024 Bethesda Fine Arts Festival will be held May 11 & 12, 2024 and will feature “fine art created by 120 of the nation’s best artists, live entertainment and Bethesda restaurants.”
Landmade Brewery at 19130 Jerusalem Rd has announced it will reopen this weekend in conjunction with the Old Line Market event taking place nearby at Aix La Chapelle farm. The brewery will be open on Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sun 10am to 4pm.
The 8th annual Takoma Trukgarten will take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 from 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm. This one-day festival features local breweries pouring craft beer and cider with food from local restaurants.
The City of Rockville will hold its 80th annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade on Monday, May 27 in the plaza at Rockville Town Square. (more…)
