Montgomery Village
The Montgomery Village Farmers Market, located at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church (9801 Centerway Road), opens for the season on Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market will run every Saturday through October 25.
This morning we reported that the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to a shooting involving multiple suspects and a tow truck driver overnight in Montgomery Village. This afternoon we heard from the driver of the tow truck. Photos of some of the damage can be seen below.

In the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, Judge Jeannie Cho has sentenced defendant William Alvarenga, 21, of Gaithersburg, to 33 years in prison, suspending all but five years to serve and five years of supervised probation upon release after posting a threat towards a police officer on social media.
