Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision involving a trash truck and passenger car on Saturday afternoon on Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg.

The ever-popular Gaithersburg Labor Day Parade returns to the streets of Olde Towne. The City and the Gaithersburg-Washington Grove Fire Department celebrate the unofficial end of summer with the 86thAnnual Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 10 a.m.
Crown Park is now open in the Downtown Crown neighborhood of Gaithersburg. This new space includes a park, plaza, and community stage for live music. It is situated behind Ted’s Bulletin and in front of Cinnaholic, La Madeleine, Asia Nine, &Pizza, and Mezeh (video below).
The Maryland Photography Alliance Juried Exhibition is on display now through September 8 at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park (506 South Frederick Ave) in Gaithersburg. The gallery’s viewing hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am-9pm and Sunday, 8am-5pm.

TaKorean has closed its Kentlands location after a little more than a year at 261 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood.
A Joint Work Session between WRS, Inc., the Mayor and City Council, and Planning Commission has been scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2024 at 7:30pm for the redevelopment of Lakeforest. The Joint Work Session will be held in the City Council Chambers at 16 South Summit Avenue. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) have responded to a crash involving several vehicles on Quince Orchard Rd, in the area of I-270, at approximately 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Dave & Buster’s officially opened its Rio location at 9811 Washingtonian Blvd in Gaithersburg in July 2019. The restaurant/entertainment center has just celebrated five years and will be getting approximately $700K in upgrades/renovations.
