Updated plans have been submitted for a proposed Royal Farms convenience store and gas station at 397 Watkins Mill Road in Gaithersburg, which would become the company’s third Montgomery County location if approved. The proposed site would be located a little more than a mile from the existing Royal Farms on Watkins Mill Road in Gaithersburg.
Permanent signage is now up at the future site of Montgomery County’s first Hobby Lobby, which will be opening on Monday, June 8th according to a representative at the store.

A Montgomery County jury has found 20-year-old Jorden Hungerford guilty of first-degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with the 2025 killing of 20-year-old Henry Krishawn Gilbert of Montgomery Village.
