A customer walking out of Health Pack Meals’ Kentlands storefront recently summed it up simply: “It’s like a healthy Chipotle.” That same sentiment has also been shared by readers who tipped off The MoCoShow about the rebrand. The off-the-cuff comparison is exactly what owners Lev and Suzie Meliksetyan hope people take away as they officially rebrand their brick-and-mortar restaurant to Culture Kitchen. The Montgomery County community is rallying to support the family of Taeyon Malachi Prather, an 18-year-old Gaithersburg resident whose death is being investigated as a homicide. According to the Montgomery County Police Department, officers were called around 7:21 p.m. on Friday, January 2, to the 23600 block of Rolling Fork Way near Damascus after Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a person down and found Prather suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Quince Orchard High School alumnus Jaylen Harvey is transferring from Penn State to North Carolina, where he will play under legendary head coach Bill Belichick. Harvey will have three years of eligibility remaining after redshirting his freshman season, as reported by on3.com.
