Food Distribution Events in Gaithersburg & Silver Spring Thursday, April 22
There will be food distribution events today at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg from 10-11AM provided by the Montgomery Village Resource Center and 14500 Layhill Rd. in Silver Spring from 11AM-1PM provided by the Oak Chapel Church.
Little Island Kitchen in Montgomery Village tells us that they expect to be open within the next three weeks.
The restaurant is located at 10003 Stedwick Rd. in the Montgomery Village Shopping Center, across from the newly opened Curaleaf medical marijuana dispensary.
Partial Collapse at Gaithersburg Jiffy Lube
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services are on the scene as the center beam between two bay doors at Jiffy Lube (116 N Frederick Ave) collapsed earlier tonight.
