A two-vehicle collision occurred today at the intersection of Muddy Branch Road and Conservation Lane in Gaithersburg, prompting a response from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS). The incident was reported at 12:37 p.m., according to Assistant Chief David Pazos.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Wise Da’Science Dickerson, a missing 10-year-old, and Linyia Fields, a missing 13-year-old from Montgomery Village who may be together. (more…)

James Lorenzo Greene, 49, of Fairmount Heights, was sentenced in Montgomery County Circuit Court to 23 years in prison for a 2000 first-degree rape in Montgomery Village, identified through a DNA match in a 23-year cold case investigation. He will also serve five years of supervised probation upon release and must register as a sex offender for life.
