Maryland is home to a single Cook Out location, located at 1115 S Salisbury Blvd in Salisbury, MD. This standout fast-food destination draws visitors from near and far. On our way from Rockville to the beach in Ocean City, we stopped by for a snack. Our drive took approximately 2.5 hours, departing Rockville at 10:00am on a Monday and arriving by 12:30pm (photos below).

The Maryland Department of Agriculture has confirmed worsening symptoms of beech leaf disease in Maryland, including Montgomery County, caused by a microscopic nematode that threatens native and ornamental beech trees, with no known prevention and limited treatment options currently available.

Maryland resident Pat Sajak will take his final spin on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Although he retired from hosting the regular version of Wheel of Fortune in June 2024 after more than four decades, Sajak returned briefly to host the fifth season of the celebrity spinoff. His final episode airs June 10 on ABC.
