Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service to Hold On-Site Application Event on Saturday, June 29, in Gaithersburg

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) will hold an on-site application event at the Montgomery County’s Public Safety Training Academy in Gaithersburg on Saturday, June 29.

Per the news release: “The Montgomery County Fire Rescue Service (MCFRS) application process is now open for those interested in career as a Firefighter/Rescuer I. The online application process will close on July 10. However; applicants can attend a special On-Site Application Event from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, June 29, in Gaithersburg.

Several Patients Evaluated Following Crash on Shady Grove Rd.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the scene of a crash involving two vehicles on Shady Grove Road, at the I-270 ramp, on Wednesday evening. According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, several patients and being evaluated and some lanes are blocked.

Driver Crashes Into Pole in Potomac Monday Evening

Monday morning update:Due to utility work, the 8700 block of Bells Mill Road is closed in both directions. Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the scene of a collision at 8700 Bells Mill Rd. near Pebble Brook Ln., in the area of Potomac’s Buck Branch Park.
