Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 35 (Montgomery County Police Union) Files Lawsuit Against Montgomery County Council Over “Use of Force” Bill
Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 35, the union that represents Montgomery County police officers, is suing the Montgomery County Council over Bill 27-20E-Police-Regulations-Use of Force Policy that they say violates the County Charter’s Collective Bargaining obligations.
Per MCPD:Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the May 7, 2020, homicide of 19-year-old Robert George Dockery (pictured below) that occurred in the Aspen Hill area.
