Update: The Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division is actively searching for Emanuel Edward Sewell, a Chevy Chase man wanted in connection with the death of a Maryland Parole and Probation agent. Sewell, 54, may be driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Elantra with Maryland license plates 93661HT. More here.

More than 20 MCPS middle school students were recognized during the annual Mosaic, Celebrating Diversity through Creative Writing Awards Ceremony on May 22. The writing contest for middle school students was sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.
