Montgomery College will host “In Conversation with Giancarlo Esposito” at the Robert E Parilla Performing Arts Center in Rockville on Thursday, November 7.  Esposito is best known for his role as Gustavo Fring in AMC’s “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul.”

Montgomery College has announced that its nursing program has been awarded over $1.5 million in grants to help fund the purchase of simulation equipment and supplies for Maryland nursing programs and enhance professional development for Montgomery College nursing faculty.


Applicants must be Montgomery County residents and registered for at least six credits this fall

Montgomery College (MC) is providing a $1,000 tuition scholarship to Montgomery County residents who are spring 2024 graduates from a Montgomery County high school and are taking at least six MC credit hours this fall. The $1,000 “Raptor Ready” Scholarship may only be applied to fall 2024 tuition and fees, and the application MUST be completed by August 1, 2024. The first 750 eligible applicants will be considered for the scholarship with all others added to a waitlist.


Montgomery College will recognize the class of 2024 at the 77th Annual Commencement Exercises this Friday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. on the Rockville Campus Athletic Field. The College will recognize students from the Germantown, Rockville and Takoma Park/Silver Spring campuses, Workforce Development and Continuing Education programs, the Board of Trustees Academic Excellence honorees, and the four honorary degree recipients.

Henry Winkler, popular for his break out role as Arthur “Fonzie/The Fonz” Fonzarelli” in the popular 70s/80s series Happy Days, will be sharing some of his personal experiences as Montgomery College’s Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center (51 Mannakee St. in Rockville) on Tuesday, October 29th.

Montgomery College will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, April 26 at 9am for its High-Tech Manufacturing Facility at 19710 Observation Dr. in Germantown.


Earlier this week we let you know that Montgomery College’s East County Education Center (ECEC) officially opened for business and the first groups of students began their classes Monday, April 1. A ribbon cutting ceremony is also scheduled for April 20th.
