Wawa’s first Montgomery County location, at 405 S Frederick Ave (355) in Gaithersburg, officially opened on Thursday, March 7 after a few years of waiting. According to a recent report by Maryland Newsletters, the building was sold for $7.81 million as it opened.
Aldon Management has sold two apartment buildings, 8200 Wisconsin Ave. (built in 1967) and the Middlebrooke Apartments at 5015 Battery Lane (built in 1962), to Corner Lot Advisors for a combined $85.6 million. 8200 Wisconsin sold for $63.3 million and Middlebrooke Apartments sold for $22.3 million, per land records.
For over a year, former Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder’s Potomac home was the highest priced home for sale in Montgomery County. Earlier this month, it came off the market after it was announced that Snyder donated it to the American Cancer Society, and a new home now takes the crown- 9305 Inglewood Ct. in Potomac.
The retail portion of Upper Rock on Shady Grove Rd. in Rockville, across from Best Buy and Home Depot, has been sold. The retail property was sold by New York-based Zurick Alternative Asset Management, who acquired the property in late 2017, to an affiliate of the Friedkin Property Group for $14.15 million (as reported by Maryland Newsletters).
255 Rockville Pike, a property in Rockville known as the Rockville Center, was recently sold via auction. According to a Maryland Newsletters report, a group called 255 Rockville Pike LLC paid $5.72 million for the building.

Finmarc Management, headquartered in Bethesda, has announced the sale of a two-story office building in Gaithersburg for nearly $4.35 million on Tuesday.
A portion of a Wheaton shopping center (11226 and 1130 Georgia Avenue) has been purchased by “1633 Wisconsin Avenue LLC” for $4.2 million.
The highest-priced new build in Bethesda (6616 Fernwood Ct.) has sold for $7.55 million. According to Maryland Newsletters, the home was completed last month and traded soon after completion after sitting on the infill market listings for approximately one year.
