The highest-rated independent pizza place in America, according to a new findings from OnDeck is located right here in Montgomery County, Maryland… and pizza isn’t on the menu. Z&Z Manoushe Bakery (1111 Nelson St. in Rockville) specializes in manoushe- a flatbread consisting of a simple yeasted dough which can have a variety of different toppings. It may look like pizza… but the flavor and experience is entirely different.
This past summer we reported that signage was up for No Regrets Pizza Co. at 5454 Nicholson Lane, on the lower level of the Harwood Flats apartment building in North Bethesda. We’re now told the restaurant is expected to open this April.
According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, “Today in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, the Honorable Bibi Berry sentenced defendant, Davinder Singh, 58, of Gaithersburg, to ten years in prison suspend all but eight years to serve and five years of supervised probation upon release. Judge Berry also imposed $2,000 in fines.
