Haagen Dazs has signed on to open a new store at 1516 Rockville Pike- the former home of the recently closed Mr. Wish.
Mr. Wish has closed its only Maryland location after a little over two years in business in Rockville. The news was provided to us by David Lay of Source of the Spring. Mr. Wish opened in September 2021 and was located at 1615 Rockville Pike in Congressional Plaza.
Boomerangs Consignment Shop, located at 16807 Crabbs Branch Way in The Grove shopping center (corner of Shady Grove Rd. and Crabbs Branch Way), has closed permanently.
Bao Bei at 11910 Parklawn Dr #O in Rockville has announced it will close on January 17 to take part in a reality tv food competition.
Chipotle, which opened a new digital-only restaurant at 13801 Outlet Drive at the Briggs Chaney Marketplace in Silver Spring earlier this year, has started construction on what may be a second Montgomery County version of the restaurant.
In September 2021, we let you know that Gregorio’s Trattoria would be opening its third MoCo location, and fourth overall, at Park Potomac- taking over the space that was previously home to Sugo. Sugo closed its doors permanently last in the summer of 2021. After a few delays, construction has begun at the upcoming restaurant.
Sadaf Halal Restaurant, a popular restaurant located at 1327 Rockville Pike in Rockville’s Sunshine Square shopping center, has closed.
