An eight-count federal grand jury indictment was unsealed today charging Olusegun Samson Adejorin, of Nigeria, for wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, and unauthorized access to a protected computer related to a $7.5 million scheme to defraud two charitable organizations by impersonating employees, and gaining access to the employees’ email accounts. one of them was located in North Bethesda, MD.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a call for a single vehicle crash caused by a driver who drove into a small tree and struck and apartment building in Rockville at approximately 3:30 pm in Rockville on Sunday.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson, the crash occurred on Monroe St. off of E Jefferson St in Rockville. The crash closed all lanes on E Jefferson Street for a couple hours late Sunday afternoon into the evening. There were no injuries and the building inspector was notified.
