Hard Times Cafe at 1117 Nelson St in Rockville will officially reopen on Friday, July 5th. From July 5th to 7th, the restaurant will be open for dinner service only (4pm-8pm). It will resume normal operating hours (11:30am-8pm) starting July 9th. The restaurant remains closed on Mondays.

TaKorean has closed its Kentlands location after a little more than a year at 261 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood.
A Joint Work Session between WRS, Inc., the Mayor and City Council, and Planning Commission has been scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2024 at 7:30pm for the redevelopment of Lakeforest. The Joint Work Session will be held in the City Council Chambers at 16 South Summit Avenue. Dave & Buster’s officially opened its Rio location at 9811 Washingtonian Blvd in Gaithersburg in July 2019. The restaurant/entertainment center has just celebrated five years and will be getting approximately $700K in upgrades/renovations.
Java Fresh Café is now open in the Westfield Wheaton Mall food court. The kiosk serves hot and cold coffee, baked goods, ice cream, smoothies, and fruit bowls.
