Robert Wiedmaier’s Mussel Bar & Grille closed its 7262 Woodmont Ave Bethesda location in April 2022, but we let you know the group planned to bring the restaurant back to a new location in Bethesda in 2024. Now it has been reported that the restaurant’s return to Bethesda will be below Tommy Joe’s, at 4903 Cordell Avenue in Bethesda, according to Robert Dyer.
Bai Kao Thai is now open at 12944-D Travilah Rd in the Potomac Oak Center (Potomac/Travilah). The restaurant is located in the space that was previously home to 98 Cafe and Shanghai Cafe. (more…)
Chick-fil-A will soon be adding pizza to the menu of its ‘Little Blue Menu’ location at 7242 Baltimore Ave. in College Park, MD. The pizza menu will be available starting Monday, March 18.

The Corner Slice, a mainstay at 7901 Norfolk Ave. in Bethesda, has closed. Readers have noted that the restaurant has been closed for a few weeks and our phone calls have gone unanswered since the start of the month. A sign has now been put in the window stating that Corner Slice is “out of business” according to Robert Dyer.
Churros Inc. is opening a new food truck at the Gaithersburg S.C. shopping center located on N. Frederick Ave and Travis Ave.
