Solaire Social, the downtown Silver Spring food hall located at 8200 Dixon Ave, will close its doors on Friday, October 24, as first reported by Source of the Spring.
Mangino’s first opened more than a decade ago inside the Express Gas Station at 13001 Wisteria Dr. (now a 7-Eleven), where it earned a loyal following for its New York-style pizza. In 2018, the restaurant moved a few doors down into Germantown Plaza, expanding its space and menu to include more traditional Italian entrées.
For decades, The Golden Bull in Gaithersburg (Montgomery County) and Adelphi (Prince George’s County) was one of the region’s best-known steakhouses, serving hearty portions of prime rib and steak in an old-school setting that became a favorite for celebrations and family dinners.
