Fantasticks, a customizable gelato bar and pop shop, will open its second Maryland location in Downtown Silver Spring. according to a report by Source of the Spring (video available below).
Eat a Lao, a new restaurant serving Lao, Vietnamese, and Thai cuisine, is coming soon to 1327 Rockville Pike, Units I, J, and K. It will be taking over the space that was recently home to Sadaf Halal Restaurant, which closed at the start of 2024.
Cheapism, a website that finds and recommends high quality, yet inexpensive products in different consumer categories, recently examined customer reviews and expert recommendations to find “fried chicken joints in every state that offer fantastic chicken in an unpretentious atmosphere.” Two restaurants in Maryland made the list…one for the state of Maryland and one as the selection for DC.

La Sandia Cantina & Tequila Bar, a popular restaurant in Tyson’s Corner for the last 16 years, has announced that it will be closing permanently on June 23rd.

Jinlan Dumplings is coming to 11620-A Rockville Pike, next to Tropical Smoothie Cafe in the White Flint Station shopping center.
