Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will overhaul its grading policy for the 2025-2026 school year, according to internal documents. Superintendent of Schools Thomas Taylor is set to present these proposed changes to the Board of Education at its regular business meeting this afternoon, April 10.
Eleven individuals have been charged in connection with a long-term investigation in Southern Baltimore City involving illegal firearms and fentanyl distribution, led by multiple law enforcement agencies as part of the Group Violence Reduction Strategy.
According to a report by FOX 5, a Potomac Elementary School student was found with a list of individuals “they thought should be harmed” on Tuesday, April 8, prompting an immediate investigation by school officials, Montgomery County Police, and MCPS security staff. (more…)
