Dor-Ne Corset Shoppe, a cherished specialty retailer known for its expert fittings and high-quality undergarments located at 8126 Georgia Ave., has announced it will be closing after 93 years in business. The longtime owners, who are retiring, shared the news of a “going out of business, everything must go”sale earlier this month along with word that the business is now available to purchase.
Coming soon signage is now up for Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen at Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront. The restaurant will be located in the former Bach to Rock space at 212 Boardwalk Place. (more…)
7-Eleven is now open at 10003 Fields Road in Gaithersburg, taking over the space that was home to Taco Bar El Güero and the Shell convenience store.
Lands’ End is closing its store at 1667 Rockville Pike in Congressional Plaza on January 24, with a store closing sale now underway, as first reported by Robert Dyer.

The company also opened a retail store in the development on Black Friday, sitting just steps away from several popular restaurants.
North Bethesda’s annual Santa Crawl is set to return on Saturday, December 13, bringing an afternoon and evening of festive celebrations to Pike & Rose.
