Rails, the Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand known for its “effortless Southern California-inspired collections,” has opened its first Maryland location at 4852 Bethesda Ave. in Bethesda Row.
In January we let you know that Dollar Tree signed a lease to open in the Cloverly Towne Center. The store is now open, h/t to Amy Haftel who initially shared the news and photo.
Earlier this month we reported that Goodwill has leased the space at 58 Market St. in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood. We have received additional information regarding the space, which will be a Goodwill Donation Express.

Falafel Inc is now open at 11802 Rockville Pike, Suite G, in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose– taking over the space previously occupied by Kung Fu Tea and Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt.
Big Papi’s Tacos is currently in its soft opening phase at 201 E Middle Ln in Rockville Town Center (the former home of Domoishi/Asian Food Hall), until its grand opening on Saturday, May 3rd. Our very own Mr. MoCo stopped by to support the restaurant and has shared a preview video that can be seen below.
Last month we let you know that Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen is set to make a splash at Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront. Now we know the restaurant will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Bach to Rock at 212 Boardwalk Place. An opening timeframe is not yet available.
