It will be located in the former home of Sugo (12505 Park Potomac Ave), which closed its doors permanently earlier this summer. Gregorio’s started out in Reston in 2008 and opened a second location in what’s now Cabin John Village in Potomac.

The restaurant opened its second MoCo location last November at the Shops at Sumner Place in Bethesda, in the spot that was home to China Pavilion for over two decades until it closed almost three years ago. They hope to open the new location in 6-8 months. Co-founders Nick Wiseman, David Wiseman and Ronen Tenne plan to open a Little Sesame restaurant at 7118 Bethesda Lane, Bethesda, Maryland, later this year, proudly joining the stellar line up of restaurants and retail in downtown Bethesda.

The opening will be the hummus brand’s first outpost outside of DC. Little Sesame is excited to bring their freshly spun hummus, seasonal pita sandwiches to the neighborhood. It has been about a year and a half since Bar Louie closed both MoCo locations. While we reported the replacement for the Wheaton location back in June, the Rockville location replacement remained a mystery– until now.

Federal Realty has included two new tenants in its latest site plan and tenant roster, and it looks as though Lagos Bar & Grill will be taking over the 6,599 square foot location that used to be home to Bar Louie in Rockville Town Square.

Though Wes Yao, owner of popular Pike & Rose restaurant Kusshi Sushi, has a YouTube channel that playfully warns others to avoid opening restaurants, he never imagined he would get assaulted at his own restaurant (warning: his YouTube channel contains language that isn’t suitable for everyone).

This morning we spoke with Yao, who told us of the situation that occurred at his restaurant earlier this week. A video of the incident can be found on the JackFroot Instagram account.

UPDATE: This closure has been delayed until August 30.

Beginning Monday, August 30, Westbound Randolph Road will be closed between Parklawn Drive and Nebel Street. The closure is expected to last approximately six months, meaning that section of Randolph Road likely won’t reopen until spring 2022.
