Tennis legend Andre Agassi is in Maryland this week as part of a multi-day filming project with JOOLA, the global pickleball and table tennis brand that recently relocated its U.S. headquarters to Pike & Rose. The company also opened a retail store in the development on Black Friday, sitting just steps away from several popular restaurants.
North Bethesda’s annual Santa Crawl is set to return on Saturday, December 13, bringing an afternoon and evening of festive celebrations to Pike & Rose. The event will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 11870 Grand Park Avenue, offering holiday-themed activities, live entertainment, giveaways, and food and drink specials throughout the neighborhood.
JOOLA will open a new retail store at Pike and Rose in North Bethesda on Black Friday, November 28.
Back in May 2024, we reported that Mui, a modern Japanese-inspired restaurant, would be joining the Pike & Rose lineup in North Bethesda. Earlier this year, the project took a major step forward when the restaurant secured a construction permit valued at $550,000 in February. Now, Mui has its hearing for a new Liquor License (On-Sale Only) for its future home at 967 Rose Avenue.
Pinstripes, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September and operates one Montgomery County location at 11920 Grand Park Avenue in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose, has now been acquired by Punch Bowl Social in partnership with Silverview Credit Partners and existing investors. (more…)
North Bethesda’s signature fall celebration, PIKEtoberfest, returns to Pike & Rose on Sunday, October 5, from 12 pm to 4 pm. The free, family-friendly festival invites the community to spend the afternoon enjoying live entertainment, local food and drinks, games, and activities for all ages.
Pinstripes at 11920 Grand Park Ave. in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose, officially referred to by the company as “Pinstripes Bethesda,” will continue operating as normal despite its parent company, Pinstripes Holdings, Inc., filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this week.

Back in January we let you know that bartaco signed on to open its first Maryland location at 11886 Grand Park Ave. in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose. The restaurant has received a permit valued at $1.12 million and has started to work on renovating the space, according to Maryland Newsletters.
