Pike & Rose is a 24-acre, transit-oriented neighborhood including more than 50 tenants of retail space. The current selection of restaurants (including Summer House Santa Monica, Fogo de Chao, &pizza, sweetgreen and Julii), retailers (including REI, Sephora, L.L.Bean and Sur La Table, Uniqlo), a Porsche dealership, and entertainment offerings (iPic Theaters, Pinstripes and AMP by Strathmore) have created what many view as one of the county’s top retail environments. Last May we let you know that Mui, a modern Japanese-inspired restaurant, is coming to Pike & Rose. There hasn’t been much movement since then, but the upcoming restaurant has received a $550,000 permit to begin construction on interior renovations.
Bouboulina, an American grill influenced by Mediterranean cuisine, will open this March at 915 Meeting St. in Pike & Rose (North Bethesda, MD).
Kung Fu Tea will close its location at 11802 Rockville Pike in Pike & Rose after nearly ten years. January 30th will be the last day. The location started as Tutti Frutti.

bartaco has signed on to open its first Maryland location at 11886 Grand Park Ave. in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose. It will be taking over the space that was previously home to Nada, which had a nearly eight year run that came to an end last September.
