Fuddruckers has announced it will be opening new locations in Silver Spring, MD and Washington, DC this fall. “The World’s Greatest Burgers” chain is known for its fresh 1/3, 1/2, or 2/3 lb patties and “Build Your Own” produce bar.
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will begin its semi-annual cleaning of 21 parking garages in Silver Spring, Bethesda, and Wheaton starting September 9 and ending November 3. The cleanings will occur during nights and weekends, with some garages experiencing partial closures.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division have arrested and charged a 17-year-old male with a shooting that occurred on Friday, February 2, 2024, in the 8100 block of Hartford Avenue in Silver Spring.
