The former Northwood High School standout helped lead the Seminoles to a 1-0 victory over Stanford in the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship on December 8 in Kansas City, Missouri. Florida State captured the title with a late goal from Wrianna Hudson, securing the program’s fifth national championship and its third in the last five years.
Jose Ulises Aguilar-Martinez, 23, pleaded guilty today to six charges connected to the July 2024 carjacking that killed 54-year-old Melody Waldecker of Silver Spring. The plea was entered in Loudoun County Circuit Court, just weeks before a jury trial was set to begin on January 5.
