Vehicle Fire Slows Traffic on The ICC Thursday Morning

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the scene of a vehicle fire on Thursday morning on MD 200/ICC. According to various readers, several lanes were shut down, but Tim Pruss (@mydronepro) has reported that traffic is moving again as of 9am. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time. Traffic Alert: Southbound I-270 Closed Thursday Morning Due to Fire Rescue Activity

Takoma Park Independence Day Parade Traffic and Parking Information

Takoma Park Police has announced that the Park Police have granted approval to open a section of Sligo Creek Parkway between Maple Avenue and Old Carroll Avenue between 9 am and 2 pm on July 4th. This measure aims to alleviate the traffic slow-downs caused by the City of Takoma Park’s parade blockades.
