Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision and fire on Clara Barton Parkway at approximately 9:30pm on Sunday night.
MCFRS are responding to a vehicle fire in northbound I-270 between Falls Road and Shady Grove Road. Delays expected.

A portion of Georgia Avenue is closed in Brookeville after a driver crashed into a pole in the area of 22015 Georgia Avenue. The City of Gaithersburg’s Transportation Committee identified the I-370 Bicycle Connection project as a key connection from Summit Hall Road to Industrial Drive. The path will be intended to “connect Gaithersburg residents & neighborhoods to local business, mass transit opportunities, and provide a low stress connection to Montgomery County’s master planned bicycle network.”
