Ride On to Offer Free Shuttle to Montgomery College Germantown Vaccination Site Beginning Today
In addition to the announcement yesterday that Ride On fares will continue to be suspended for the next few months, Ride On also announced that they will be providing a free shuttle from Shady Grove Metro to Montgomery College Germantown.

It has been over a year since we let you know about the La Gula Mexicana taking over the old Agrodolce spot in the Milestone Center in Germantown (21030 Frederick Rd Suite J).
Though Agrodolce is missed by many in the community, Diners can take solace in the fact that the new restaurant will be owned and operated by the folks who have brought you Taco Bar (in the gas station in Rio) and Ixtapalapa in Gaithersburg.
Montgomery College’s Germantown campus will host the county’s first mass vaccination site, according to Montgomery County Councilmember Evan Glass.
According to Glass, “The state, county and Holy Cross Health are diligently working on the logistics to prepare for the first doses to be disbursed in a few weeks.”

Upcounty Consolidation HUB at BlackRock Seeks Donations for 1,000 Easter Baskets
The Germantown-based Upcounty Consolidation HUB at BlackRock, which has been providing much needed food and essentials to families during COVID-19, is collecting donations as they hope to assemble 1,000 Easter Baskets for local families. While they continue food distribution and deliveries, they have several ways for community members to contribute to their Easter project.
