Onelife Fitness in Germantown is preparing for a major transformation as it moves forward with a $3 million renovation and expansion at its 20500 Seneca Meadows Parkway location. According to Maryland Newsletters, J.R. Bernlohr Architects of Annapolis has been selected to lead the project.

The Salgado Family Christmas Display, created by siblings Pahan and Supuli Salgado, will open this year at a new location at Hope International Church, 15817 Barnesville Road in Boyds, MD. A Germantown man won a $50,000 top prize in the Maryland Lottery’s Bonus Match 5 drawing on October 30, years after missing out on a previous win when he forgot to play his usual numbers. He purchased the winning ticket at Kingsview Beer and Wine in Germantown, which will receive a $500 bonus, and plans to use part of his winnings toward a future trip to Italy with his wife.
