BGR, which stands for “Burgers Grilled Right,” has closed its Germantown location at 20940-B Frederick Rd in the Neelsville Village Center. The location has been removed from the BGR website and is listed as permanently closed on Google. The last remaining BGR in Maryland is at 6250 Columbia Crossing Circle, Suite D in Columbia.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to Thyme Ct, near Mateny Rd and off Cinnamon Rd, in Germantown, for a single vehicle crash into a shed in the backyard of a townhome on Tuesday evening.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School (13737 Wisteria Dr. Germantown, MD) evacuated the building on Thursday morning due to a fire alarm. The school sent out a message assuring the community the students and staff are safe, but moved to Lake Seneca ES due to the low temperatures.
