Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a fire at a three-story townhouse on Skip Jack Drive in Germantown, on Tuesday, December 31.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the fire was caused by a space heater placed too close to combustibles or an overheating cord, resulting in approximately $13,000 in damage.
