This week has been marked by a wind advisory with high winds across the region, followed by a frost advisory on Thursday morning. When that is all said and done, temperatures are expected to rise into the upper 70s and mid-80s this weekend.
On Saturday April 19 and Sunday April 20, free shuttle buses will replace trains between Rhode Island Ave. and Takoma on the Red Line. The Brookland station will be closed and there will be no Red Line train service at Fort Totten.
