The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will host a free “Truck Day” event on May 17 in Rockville, offering the public a chance to explore public works, construction, and first-responder vehicles while celebrating National Public Works Week.
Program Overview
This 6 week Saturday tennis clinic is designed for middle school players who want to learn and improve their tennis skills in a fun and supportive environment. Players will build confidence on the court while developing strong fundamentals and enjoying the game with other students.
Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced that seven individuals have been indicted for alleged involvement in two organized groups linked to a series of armed robberies, attempted robberies, and other crimes targeting bank customers across multiple Maryland counties from August 2023 to July 2024. Authorities say the investigation uncovered a pattern of incidents involving firearms and the use of force, resulting in the theft of over $155,000. (more…)
According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, “Today in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, the Honorable Sharon Burrell sentenced defendant Neel Patel, 24, of Carol Stream, IL, to 20 years in prison suspending all but 18 months to serve and five years of supervised probation upon release. Judge Burrell also ordered Patel to pay $331,817.54 in restitution to the victim.” (more…)
