The AFC and NFC Championship games will be played this Sunday and for the first time in over 30 years our home team, the Washington Commanders, will be competing in the NFC Championship for the chance to make it to the Super Bowl. Ahead of the games, betting website BetOnline.ag released who fans are rooting for based on geotagged X data and fan hashtags.

Xiao Qi Ji, Mei Xiang and Tian Tian left the National Zoo more than a year ago, and ursine admirers were left wondering when or if pandas would ever return. Well, on Friday, Bao Li (male) and Qing Bao (female), a pair of three-year old pandas, make their public debut (more photos below).
19-year-old Zhenyong Weng of New York, who pleaded guilty on Tuesday, was sentenced today to 18 months in prison for his role in an attempted Gold Bar Scam targeting an elderly victim who had lost over $900,000, with prosecutors emphasizing the inadequacy of current sentencing guidelines for such crimes. Cesar De La O Rodriguez, 21, a citizen of El Salvador and a member of the violent transnational criminal street gang known as 18th Street, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court to 40 years in federal prison in connection with the 2021 stalking and killing of an individual he suspected was a rival international gang member in Rockville, Maryland, a slaying committed to increase his standing in the 18th Street gang.
