Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) recently shared a video with superintendent Thomas Taylor introducing the 2024/2025 boundary study as MCPS prepares to expand its high school offerings with upcoming opening of Crown High School (Gaithersburg), the reopening of Charles W. Daylight Saving Time (DST) always begins on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. Many often use the expressions, “spring forward” and “fall back” to help explain which way the clocks are moving. FOX 5 meteorologist Mike Thomas shared a few changes that we would see if President-elect Donald Trump’s statement on eliminating DST.

MCDOT

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will host an in-person meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m. at Wheaton Woods Elementary School to present and gather feedback on safety improvement concept designs for four locations near the school. (more…)
