Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer provided an update about a crash that occurred at approximately 7:30 PM on Saturday evening on the Clara Barton Parkway that involved two vehicles that veered off the roadway and down an embankment.

California-based Dave’s Hot Chicken opened its first Montgomery County location in White Oak on November 15 and is set to launch a second restaurant at 11564 Rockville Pike in the Metro Pike Shopping Center This new Dave’s site will occupy the former McDonald’s location, which is relocating to 11710 Rockville Pike later this year.

Bethesda

A serious collision occurred on the Clara Barton Parkway near Cabin John Parkway, prompting a swift response from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) on Saturday evening. According to spokesperson Pete Piringer, two vehicles were found down a 40-foot embankment as emergency responders arrived on the scene.

WSSC

WSSC Water’s temporary assistance program, Get Current 2.0, will run from March 1 to June 30, offering bill credits and waivers on late fees for eligible customers with past-due water and sewer bills. Residential and commercial customers meeting specific income and payment criteria may receive up to a 50 percent bill credit and full waivers of late fees and turn-on charges.
