Watershed Cafe, the Ag reserve’s only farm to table restaurant, has closed permanently.
The Poolesville restaurant opened in 2017 and focused on partnerships with local farmers.
Da Marco the Italian Place has closed permanently.
The Italian restaurant opened on Seneca Meadows Pkwy, near Wegmans, in Germantown in 2016. It is the sister restaurant if Pizzeria Da Marco in Bethesda, which we were told is remaining open.

The original Urban Bar-B-Que, located on Chapman Avenue in Rockville, has closed permanently.
In a statement released on Facebook, the restaurant announced that Sunday, March 29th will be the last day of service.
Manhattan Pizza will be taking over the Pizza 500 location in Clarksburg (23222 Stringtown Rd.).

This probably won’t come as a surprise to anyone, but we just received word that MoCo’s last remaining Ruby Tuesday has closed permanently.
MCPS anticipates and is expecting an extended closure, per a letter sent to the community today.
“ While state officials have only announced a two-week emergency closure at this time, we are anticipating and actively preparing for the very real possibility of an extended closure. We expect to hear from our state officials in the coming days. Our preparation includes designing plans for innovative, remote student instruction (continuity of learning) that uses multiple tools (for example, online, TV and telephone and hard copy packets) to provide teaching and learning. We are also gathering and finalizing distribution plans for digital devices that will help ensure our students can fully engage in this new model. These devices will be prioritized for students in need.”
Mynd Spa, formerly known as the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, has informed all employees that they are laid off and is closing all 25+ locations across the country.
The company has released the following statement, “It is with sadness and disappointment that Mynd Spa and Salon has permanently closed.”

Westfield, who owns and operates both malls, released the following statement:
Simon Property Group, who owns and operates Clarksburg Premium Outlets, announced they will be closing until March 29th.
“After extensive discussions with federal, state and local officials and in recognition of the need to address the spread of COVID-19, Simon will close all of its retail properties, including Malls, Premium Outlets and Mills in the U.S. This measure will take effect from 7pm local time today and will end on March 29.”
