Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer reports that Fire Investigators have arrested a Bethesda man for setting a fire at American Plant (5258 River Rd) back on September 24.

Abdoulaye Yacinthe Sarr Jr has been charged w/ Arson/2nd Degree, Burglary/2nd Degree and Malicious Destruction of Property great than $1,000.

9/30 Update: The cause of yesterday’s fire at a home on Danville Dr. in Rockville was a combustible too close to a heat source (light bulb) on the rear deck of the home.

85 MCFRS firefighters responded to the call. Damages are estimated to be around $350,000.

Update: Off-Duty Officer Rescues Woman and Teen From Vehicle Fire on Montgomery Avenue and East West Highway in Bethesda

Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer reports that just before 7pm on Tuesday evening, MCFRS were notified that a vehicle had collided with a tree on Montgomery Avenue and East West Highway and that the vehicle was on fire.

Police Investigating Physical Altercation That Led to Two Men Falling From Balcony in Clarksburg

The individuals involved in yesterday’s incident in Clarksburg that resulted in two people falling off the balcony of a home on Cypress Spring Road have been identified as a 38-year-old-man and 42-year-old man, according to FOX45 Baltimore.
