Brews & Barrels Giving Free Lunch on Thanksgiving
One of our sponsors, Brews & Barrels, is giving back to the community this Thanksgiving by handing out free Brew Burgers from 12PM-2PM. The free lunches will be curbside only and available to the first 100 cars (limit two meals per car).

Do you remember this popular Rockville destination from decades back? Once located at 140 W. Bouic Ave, adjacent to Congressional Plaza off of Rockville Pike, this airplane hangar turned roller skating rink drew local crowds from 1956 to 1983.

A sign posted on the door of the former Splash and Dash Groomerie & Boutique reveals the plans for a new beer and wine store in the Montgomery Village Center. This will be the second beer and wine store in the center.

The construction on the restaurants coming to the paseo hasnt made much progress in the last few months. The paseo is the walkway that can be found next to MOD Pizza (where Chopt is going) on one side and Berries & Bowls on the other.

We’re a few months into the construction at the site of the upcoming Lidl at the Professional Center site that was on Montgomery Village and Centerway, across from the Montgomery Village shopping center.
Before the buildings were demolished, however, resident Chelsea Hall found some pretty impressive graffiti adorning the walls of the abandoned buildings.
A popular holiday tradition for many in our area includes going to see the Washington D.C. Temple Festival of Lights.
Located in Kensington, the Festival of Lights at the Washington D.C. LDS Temple is usually open to the public, allowing visitors to walk around the grounds under the beautiful lights and take in free performances at the Visitors Center.
